Returns & Refunds
This policy explains your rights when you buy a pre-owned item through Redar. It sits alongside our Terms & Conditions and does not affect your statutory rights.
Redar sells pre-owned furniture and interiors. Every item is described and photographed in the condition it is in. Normal signs of use are expected and are disclosed in the listing.
Changing your mind
You can cancel a purchase within 14 days of receiving your item, without giving a reason. This is your right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
- Tell us within 14 days of the day you receive the item.
- Return the item within 14 days of telling us.
- We refund you within 14 days of receiving the item back, or of you showing proof that you have returned it.
The item must be returned in the same condition you received it. We may reduce your refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is needed to inspect it.
For larger items, return transport is arranged at your cost unless we agree otherwise. We can coordinate collection for you and deduct the cost from your refund.
Faulty or not as described
If an item arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or materially different from its description, you have the right to reject it. This is separate from changing your mind and is covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Contact us within 30 days of receiving the item.
- We arrange and pay for the return.
- You receive a full refund, including any delivery you paid.
Because items are pre-owned, condition is judged against the description and photographs provided at the point of sale. Disclosed signs of use are not faults.
How to start a return
Email hello@redar.com with your order details and the reason for the return. We manage the process from there and confirm the next steps.
Items remain in our care until handover. If you change your mind before delivery or collection, we can usually stop the handover and refund you directly.
Refunds
Refunds are made to your original payment method.
- Change of mind: within 14 days of receiving the item back, or proof of return.
- Faulty or not as described: as soon as the return is confirmed.
We refund the price you paid. For a change of mind we also refund the standard outbound delivery cost. We do not refund a premium delivery upgrade you chose, or the cost of returning the item.
