FAQs
What does it cost to sell it with Redar?∨
Our seller fee is 42% of the achieved sale price (35% commission + VAT). No upfront listing fees, no buyer premiums and no hidden charges. A collection fee is agreed in advance and deducted from the sale proceeds — never paid upfront.
What items do you accept?∨
We accept selected items suitable for managed resale: quality furniture, design pieces, decorative interiors and selected household contents with resale value. We focus on items we believe can sell within the defined sales cycle.
How does the process work?∨
You send us details and photos. We confirm acceptance, agree terms and collect the item. We assess, price, photograph and list it, then manage enquiries, payment and buyer coordination. You do not deal with buyers directly.
How long does the sales cycle last?∨
Each item enters a defined sales cycle. The timeframe is agreed before collection so the process is structured and predictable.
What happens at the end of the sales cycle?∨
If an item has not sold, the agreed resolution pathway applies — extension (with custody cost), donation, managed clearance, or return. Any extension must be agreed in advance.
How do you create the description?∨
We write clear, factual descriptions based on your information, physical inspection and a measurements and condition review. We avoid exaggeration — accuracy protects both you and the buyer.
Why do you take so many photographs and video?∨
Clear visual documentation builds buyer confidence, reduces uncertainty and improves sale outcomes. Accurate presentation protects both seller and buyer and is part of the managed service.
How do I get paid?∨
You're paid by bank transfer within 5 working days of the buyer paying in full and the collection or delivery window passing. You receive a statement showing sale price, commission, agreed costs and net amount paid.
Can a buyer cancel a purchase?∨
Consumer law may allow cancellation in certain cases. If this happens we manage the process, coordinate return if required and relist the item within the existing sales cycle where possible. You do not deal with the buyer directly.
Do you store the items?∨
Yes. Items remain in Redar's custody during the agreed sales cycle. Custody is structured and time-defined — we do not provide open-ended storage.
Where are your Terms & Conditions?∨
Our Terms & Conditions are available at /terms. They cover fees, custody, liability, payment timelines and end-of-cycle pathways.
